He has a deep passion for instructing ceramics and painting. Which he has taught since 1958, when he began teaching ceramic workshop at Artistas del Acero and at La Cascada, both art training academies in the city of Concepción, until 1965.
University teaching began in 1967 in Valparaíso, when he began teaching at the University of Chile and remained there until 1976. In addition, between 1970 and 1976, he taught at Santa María University. From 1965 to 1976, he teaches at the Fine Arts school in Viña del Mar.
From 1976 until the beginning of 1984, he taught drawing and painting at the University of Concepción’s School of Art. Even though he devoted many hours to instructing, he always found time to paint his works in a workshop at the University School of Art or in its Department on Diagonal Street in Concepción.
